Mission

Our Mission

To advance the Chief Information Security Officer profession by creating trusted environments for executive exchange, practitioner-led research, leadership development, innovation, recognition, and enduring professional relationships.

Our Vision

A stronger, better-connected global CISO profession whose leaders are equipped to protect their organizations, influence enterprise strategy, develop future leaders, and navigate technological and business change.

Why We Exist

The CISO role has expanded dramatically. Security executives are now expected to manage enterprise risk, advise boards, enable innovation, respond to regulatory change, guide organizations through crises, and make consequential technology and investment decisions. CISOs Connect exists to support the people carrying that responsibility.

What Guides Us

CISO-First
Programs begin with the needs and perspectives of security executives.
Substance Over Performance
We favor candid exchange, useful research, and meaningful interaction over scripted presentations.
Trust
Our strongest conversations depend on discretion, respect, and environments where executives can speak openly.
Contribution
Members strengthen the profession by sharing experience, insight, and lessons learned.
Independence
Research and community programming should preserve the credibility of the CISO voice.
Long-Term Stewardship
Our responsibility extends beyond individual events. We aim to strengthen and document the profession itself.

Our Commitment

CISOs Connect will continue building resources, programs, research, and relationships that help cybersecurity leaders learn from one another and help the profession evolve with the responsibilities placed upon it.
